While the infrared-colorblocked Air Max 90s are very nice, there are other nice new colorways dropping right now as well. These Nike Air Max 90 Chlorophyll get their nickname from the colorway.
Some could say the “chlorophyll” colorway is loosely based on the famous Air Trainer 1 with the same color scheme (minus the grey). Otherwise there’s nothing really remarkable about this shoe. These include flat white laces with green aglets and come in a plain orange Nike sportswear box.
This pair also sports the “recrafted” look with the extra stitching and slimmer, more lightweight construction. These look great and feel great on feet. The materials and comfort are definitely worth the box price here, so if you can find these for retail, I highly recommend picking them up!
How Are The Materials?
Similar to the other recrafts, these have a general release level of Nike Sportswear quality, but slightly better. We actually get a decently soft and plush leather on most of the upper, except the swoosh which is a soft, felt suede. The mesh seems good with no flaws. Overall these have an acceptable level of materials given that these go for the retro vibe.
How Do They Fit?
True to size is the name of the game here. I wear a size 10 in Vans, Jordan 1s, etc and I got that for these Nike Air Max 90 Chlorophyll. Recrafted 90s like these are a little lighter and more comfy underfoot than older AM90s from even a year ago. The newer shape is nice and pointy on foot as well!
